Domino Stabilized is a do-it-yourself electric stair climber, equipped with Zonzini tracks, non-slip and scratch-resistant, with a high grip. Can Domino stair climbers do spiral staircases?

Absolutely Yes. In fact, they are equipped with powerful independent electric motors that allow the tracks to rotate independently. This allows them to turn 360 degrees in the tightest of spaces and to navigate spiral staircases by adjusting their speed to follow the curvature of the steps. Of course, the ability to navigate spiral or curved staircases is highly dependent on the load volume and the radius of the staircase curve. This dynamic applies to all stair climbers, regardless of their operational design. If the radius of the curve is too sharp or the load is too bulky, any unit would potentially come into contact with the wall.

Will the tracks damage the stairs?

Absolutely Not. Zonzini brand stair treads are synonymous with stability and safety on stairs. They are made with a special rubber compound that ensures maximum grip on most surfaces and in virtually all transport conditions. They are suitable for traversing outdoor surfaces on construction sites as well as the most delicate indoor surfaces such as wooden, marble, or glass stairs. Zonzini specializes in electric tracked stair climbers and there has never been a case of stair damage due to the tracks. An important point to note is that the tracks always rest on at least 4 or 6 contact points on the stairs. This means that the weight is evenly distributed and the load on each step is significantly lower compared to the total weight being transported.

Does the operator have to make any physical effort during transport?

Absolutely Not. The entire range of Domino Electric Stair Climbing Trolleys is designed to always distribute the weight over the stairs and landings, eliminating the need for the operator to balance the load on each step as is typical with wheeled trolleys. Domino Stabilized is even equipped with guidance assist sensors that autonomously detect the landing and initiate automatic load stabilization. The operator only has to guide the load with the joystick. Even when descending, a sensor detects the presence of the first step and automatically activates load stabilization, allowing the operator to simply steer with the joystick. It doesn’t get any easier than that.
